The Columbia YRs are a group of young professionals between the ages of 18-40 who have a common interest in political and social issues and strive to get young people involved in the growth and development of the Republican Party, providing much needed energy and ingenuity in state, local, and national elections.

College Republicans

The College Republican Confederation of South Carolina is an organization that promotes collegiate involvement in the political system, while upholding the ideals and creed of the Republican Party. In cooperation with the South Carolina GOP, they work tirelessly through grassroots efforts to help elect Republican candidates to office.

In addition, the CRCSC encourages its chapters to sponsor issues' debates, forums, and speakers where both political and apolitical students can hear a conservative counterbalance to the often raging liberal faculties and administrations. The CR's are often the only opposition to liberal ideology on our campuses.
